ISO-9001:2000 Certification
Fusepoint is officially ISO-9001:2000 certified since 2002. The implementation of a quality management system according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard requirements involves demonstrating the ability to consistently provide a product that meets the customer’s quality requirements and applicable regulatory requirements; while aiming to enhance customer satisfaction through an efficient application of the system, and particularly, the implementation of a continuous improvement process based on the PDCA or Deming Wheel or Cycle. The ISO 9001 standard requirements address four key processes: management accountability; resource management; product fulfillment; and the measurement, analysis and continuous improvement processes. The CICA 5970 and SAS 70 (Type II) Audit Process
To achieve our level of performance takes an unwavering commitment to process. The highest available standards for measuring and improving data center operations and management are CICA 5970 and SAS 70 (Type II) audits. CICA 5970 and SAS 70 (Type II) are similar audits that define professional standards to rigorously assess the internal controls of service organizations. These programs have specific requirements for service providers managing customer data and focus heavily in the areas of compliance, security and access. CICA 5970 is a Canadian standard administered by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants while SAS 70 is the US-based equivalent developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Fusepoint has been accredited by the firm Grant Thorton LLP in both since 2005 and we are committed to completing these audits on an annual basis. Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standard
PCI is the agreed upon standard by credit card companies that dictates how merchants and service providers must protect sensitive cardholder information. It applies to organizations that store, process or transmit cardholder information. Companies that don't live up to the standard's 12 requirements run the risk of not being able to do business with the leading credit card companies, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Fusepoint has achieved the highest level of compliance possible for service providers supporting Tier 1 merchants that require a managed hosting provider to ensure the infrastructure that processes credit card information is secure. In addition to our CICA and SAS accreditations, Fusepoint has also undergone the rigorous HP Service Provider Certification. Heavily based on ITIL best practices, this extensive set of audits and conformity requirements is designed to help their Premier Partners evaluate and gain independent confirmation of their IT service management capabilities.
